My Specialties
ADHD

Living with ADHD can feel like driving a high-powered car with unpredictable brakes — exciting one moment, frustrating the next. In therapy, we’ll focus on understanding how your brain works rather than trying to “fix” it. Together we’ll build practical systems that fit your life, while also working through the shame, frustration, and self-doubt that often come with ADHD.
The heart of this process is connection — a space built on trust and curiosity, where you can be seen for who you are and supported in who you’re becoming.
Anxiety

Anxiety is often the mind’s way of trying to protect you — just in overdrive. We’ll slow things down, make sense of what your anxiety is saying, and practice ways to feel grounded and safe again.
Therapy becomes a space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect — where trust and vulnerability can replace self-judgment. Over time, anxiety stops running the show, and you can start living with more clarity and calm.
Problematic Cannabis Use (CUD)

It’s often a smooth slide: Cannabis begins as relief—a way to cope, focus, or simply unplug. Then, that helpful tool starts becoming a burden. If you're struggling with what’s commonly called Marijuana Addiction or Weed Dependency (clinically known as Cannabis Use Disorder - CUD), you're not alone.
My approach starts with curiosity, not judgment. We'll explore your unique relationship with cannabis, understand the emotions driving it, and figure out what a healthier kind of change looks like for you. You'll find an open space here to talk about what’s truly hard, regain clarity, and feel genuinely in charge of your life again.

Welcome to my practice!

About My Work
When I first saw Good Will Hunting, Robin Williams’ character changed how I thought about therapy — he was real, honest, and deeply human. That’s how I try to show up with clients: authentic, grounded, and willing to sit with the hard stuff.
I’ve wrestled with ADHD, anxiety, and marijuana addiction myself, and nearly a decade of work has shown me that therapy isn’t about “fixing” anyone. It’s about noticing patterns, experimenting with new ways of being, and finding a life that feels more aligned with who you are. My role is to listen, challenge when it helps, and walk alongside you so you feel seen and supported.
My fee is $195 for a 60-minute session, and I do offer reduced fee option. I’m an out-of-network provider, but I can provide a superbill each month to help you get partial reimbursement from your insurance. I’m also happy to guide you in what to ask your provider during that process.
What do you charge?
I’m currently licensed in Washington, DC and Virginia.
Where do you work from?
I’m not able to prescribe medication or provide testing for ADHD. However, I can help you find the right resources and guide you through the process of making those steps if needed.
Do you provide medication or testing for ADHD?
My approach is straightforward — we talk about what matters to you. I don’t come in with a script or a rigid plan. Instead, we focus on what’s happening in your life right now (or in the past), work through emotions and thoughts as they come up, and find directions you can take between sessions. I see our time together as meaningful and unique, and I aim to give you the space and support you need to make real progress.
What's it like to be in a session with you?
I use a range of approaches depending on what we determine is most beneficial for you. I'm trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Parts Work, and Mindfulness-based approaches.
What kinds of therapy do you use?
I currently see adults 18 and older.

Why I do this work...
About me
From a young age, I've always been curious about what makes people tick. When I learned about psychology in college, I realized there was something I could do professionally about this weird interest of mine.
During this time, I was also dealing with my own 'psychology', including ADHD and anxiety, which highlighted the importance of strong relationships for me. Fortunately, therapy became a vital resource for me, offering insights and support that transformed my perspective. This journey not only helped me gain greater self-awareness, but also revealed a lot of resilience and compassion within myself.
As a therapist, I'm dedicated to sharing the transformative power of therapy with others. My goal is to guide individuals in uncovering their strengths, navigating life's challenges, and building solid connections with themselves and the people around them. This process can lead to profound personal growth and deeper relationships, ultimately fostering a more fulfilling life.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) in Washington, D.C. Currently, I only offer telehealth sessions, but in the near future, I plan to establish a physical office space in the District as well.
Where do you work from? Can I see you in person or do you work virtually?
I understand that therapy costs can feel overwhelming. Even though I don't take insurance, I offer a reduced fee/sliding scale. I genuinely believe that finances should never be a barrier to receiving quality therapy. Even if you're not sure you can cover the costs, let's have a conversation about your options and create a plan that suits you best.
Therapy costs are too damn high! Do you take insurance? If not, how can we still work together?
In order to receive effective ADHD treatment, many typically undergo a thorough evaluation by a team of qualified healthcare professionals. While I can offer initial assessments and a preliminary diagnosis, I am legally not allowed to prescribe medication. However, as an advocate, I can assist you in navigating the complexities of the healthcare system to ensure that you receive the right diagnosis and medication. Additionally, even after receiving a diagnosis and medication, many individuals with ADHD find that they still require support through therapy to manage their challenges and address a lifetime of an undiagnosed or undertreated disorder.
If you think you might have ADHD or need support, I’m here for you, so please reach out to me.
Do you provide ADHD assessments or prescribe medication? Can I still work with you even if I don't have a diagnosis or medication yet?
I prefer to keep things genuine. In other words, during our conversations, I will follow your guidance and remain open-minded. I don’t have a specific agenda or plan for our sessions, but I am willing to be straightforward and gently push you when necessary. This can help us identify obstacles and determine the changes needed to achieve your goals.
Your feedback is also crucial to me, as I want to understand what is effective and what is not. By fostering a relationship based on honesty and open communication about your ‘here and now’ experience, I believe we can make more effective progress.

What kinds of therapy are you trained in?
As much as I would love to work with an alien and a cat in couples therapy, unfortunately, that’s outside of my wheelhouse. Right now, I only see individual adults over the age of 18. However, I am looking to begin leading groups as well as providing couples therapy in the not too distant future.
